How does a race night work?

A race night is a fantastic straightforward fun way to raise funds for your organisation. 

There are several jobs that will need to be done before and during the race night, ultimately the amount of effort that goes in determines how much money you will raise.

A Race Night usually has 8 races + an auction race. 

However this is completely flexible and we are always willing to work with you to organise the kind of event you wish to have!

Our team have years of experience in running Race Nights, and we will give you all of the tools, forms and advice to raise as much money as possible from your event. 

Our team can take care of as little or as much as you want. We can book venues, book food providers, and sort all the advertising out if required. Speak to us for a price. 

Before your race night

- Get local businesses/people to sponsor Races

- Sell a Tri-Cast

- Sell Mini Tri-Casts

- Decide whether you want to add any of the additional options available (see our additional offerings page)

All forms to sell everything are sent to you once the deposit has been paid. We can also provide posters, flyers and anything else you need for an additional charge.

Our team will keep in contact with you in the lead up to the event to answer any questions.

Sell as much as you can so you can raise as much as you can!

During the race night

Our team arrive at the venue approximately 90 minutes prior to your advertised start time. 

We take care of everything on the night for you. Our team will host the event, they will sell the TOTE, and sort out all the winners, to provide you with the most stress free event possible. 

We ask you to take care of entry tickets, and manning the door. And to hand out any food or anything else you have planned. 

At the end of the night, our team will then hand you the funds that have been raised!

If people are enjoying the evening, we can always add additional races.

A RACE NIGHT IS 100% LEGAL, AND YOU DO NOT NEED ANY LICENCE TO RUN YOUR EVENT 

YOUR RACE NIGHT IS RUN UNDER THE LOTTERY AND AMUSEMENT ACT 1976:

To comply with regulations, we suggest the following

• Include food within the tickets

• Open the betting for the first race, and take the bets.

• When all bets have been placed the race night tote is closed.

• Ask a member of the audience to choose a race film number at random from the DVD.

• Show the film on the television or screen.

• As no more bets can be placed at this point, you have complied with the regulations.
